Copying a Structure Across Tracks

The 'Copy Opposite' function is used to copy a single structure to the other side of a track or tracks that aligns with the original structure.

Please note: Only single-mast structures (single track cantilevers, two track cantilevers, twin/triple cantilevers, self supporting anchors, and attachment points) can be copied across track(s).

Step 1: Click the 'Copy Opposite' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar

Step 2: Click the structure you want to copy

Step 3: Click the left rail

This should be the leftmost rail of the tracks you wish the structure to be associated with, when looking in the direction of increasing chainage.

Step 4: Click the right rail

This should be the rightmost rail of the tracks you wish the structure to be associated with, when looking in the direction of increasing chainage.

Once you've clicked the right rail, the 'Create Structure' window will open.

Step 5: Make any required changes to your structure, then click 'Confirm'

Complete the final part of the structure name.

Please note, whenever a structure is copied, the foundation and mast bearings are reset to the default rotation of the structure type being copied.

Once you click 'Confirm' the 'Create Structure' window will close, and your structure will be copied.

Please note: When you copy a structure, if the secondary chainage is being used, it won't be copied or updated automatically. This is because values for secondary chainages can vary case by case.
