The below instructions outline how to make changes to a mast for a structure you have already placed.
Edit a Mast
Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the structure selection window.
Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click 'Edit'
Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down menu. Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 3: Configure the mast
You can change the label, type, length, bearing, RECOS, and REFOS as applicable in the 'Edit Structure' window.

Step 4: Click 'Update Structure'
This will close the 'Edit Structure' window. Any changes you have made will be visible in the 3D and Plan view
Edit a Mast with Equipment
Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the structure selection window.
Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click 'Edit'
Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down menu. Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 3: Configure the mast type, if necessary
Clicking the drop-down menu to select a new mast type will open the 'Steelwork Configurator' dialog. From there you can select a new mast without affecting your wire supports or backties. Learn more here.
Step 4: Review or adjust any automatic adjustments to equipment
If the equipment or ornaments you have attached to your mast are no longer applicable with your new mast choice, Lineardraft may have automatically updated to a similar piece of equipment. You can view and adjust the new equipment or ornaments in the drop-down menus.

Step 5: Click 'Apply'
This will close the 'Steelwork Configurator' dialog.
Step 6: Continue to configure the mast
You can change the structure support label, length, bearing, RECOS, and REFOS as applicable in the 'Edit Structure' window.

Step 7: Click 'Update Structure'
This will close the 'Edit Structure' window.
