Lineardraft allows you to view all elements connected with a specific structure or wire by highlighting them in your model. This can be particularly useful to achieve better visibility, especially in instances where elements become cramped together.
To do so, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Click the 'Highlight' button in the 'Views' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the 'Highlight' window.
Step 2: Select 'Structure' or 'Wire' then make a selection from your design
There are separate tabs at the top of the window for choosing either a structure or a wire. Once you've selected the appropriate tab, you can click directly on your structure or wire, or alternatively find your chosen item in the drop-down list.
Step 3: Choose associated elements you wish to highlight
Blue buttons indicate the selected element(s) will be highlighted in your design, whilst greyed out buttons will not be.
The numbers in each button indicate how many of that element are connected to your chosen structure or wire. For example, the selected wire below has 24 connected structures and 22 wire annotations.
