Responding to Information Requests

We want to make Lineardraft an invaluable tool for designers and engineers. To do that, we sometimes need the help of designers and engineers to make sure we're on the right path!

When considering new features or change suggestions that are on our Roadmaps, if a change card is placed in the 'Information Required' section, we need your help in clarifying or adding detail to a request.

This article shows you were to find those suggestions, and how you can respond.

Step 1: Visit the Roadmap

We have two roadmaps. One for software changes and one for design catalogues.

Step 2: Click the 'Information Required' tab

This shows all change cards which require further information before we can proceed.

Step 3: Click on a change card

This will give you more information about the suggestion. The information we require will be shown at the top of the 'What's new' section.

Step 4: Click on the response form link

This will open the response form in a new window.

Step 5: Complete the response form and click 'Submit'

Please provide as much detail and information as you can, including any relevant attachments such as CAD files, drawings. and references.

What Happens Next?

We will review and process your submission. We may allow time for multiple responses, but once we have the required information, the suggestion will be assessed and may be progressed to the 'Working On It' section.
