Edit Structure Window: Statuses

The ‘Statuses’ tab within the ‘Edit Structure’ window allows you to set and edit the status of entire structures and each of their individual components.

  1. Item tree: The statuses tab is organised into a tree diagram with parent items and child items. When the left facing arrows are clicked, the child items of that particular component will become visible.
  2. Status drop-down: Clicking on any item will allow you to then choose a status from the drop-down menu at the top of the window. The statuses available are defined by your project settings; learn more here.
  3. Apply to children: This will apply the same status to all child items of any applicable component. For example, if a gantry’s status is changed to ‘Proposed’ and ‘Apply to children’ is clicked, this will change the status of any SPS, drop tubes and brackets that may be associated with this gantry to 'Proposed'.
  4. Update Structure: For any change to be applied to your structure, you will need to click ‘Update Structure’. This will also apply any changes you have made to your structure in other tabs of the ‘Edit Structure’ window.
