To help with tracking the status or progress during an OLE construction project, every structure can be assigned a status. But it doesn't stop there, as you can assign a status to each component of your structure independently by following the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Staging' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click on the 'Statuses' button
Step 3: Click on the structure with the component(s) you want to set status(es) for
This will open the 'Status Editor' window.
The 'Status Editor' window allows you to change the status of the entire structure, individual components, or groups of components. Click one of the tabs below to find out how.
To change the status of the entire structure:
Step A: Click the 'Structure Status' drop-down and select the status you want, then click 'Confirm'
To change the status of an individual component of a structure, follow these steps.
Component statuses are initially set as 'Default to Structure'. When a component's status is changed an asterisk will show next to the affected component(s).
Step A: Click the component with the status you want to change
Step B: Click the 'Component Status' drop-down and select the status you want
An asterisk will show next to the component.
Step C: To apply the status you've just selected to all sub-components, click 'Apply to sub-components'
Asterisks will appear next to all affected sub-components.
Step D: Click 'Confirm'
To reset all component statuses to 'Default to Structure':
Step A: Click 'Reset All' then click 'Confirm'
