Occasionally, you may need to change the CAD output for your design. The instructions below outline how to select either just the 2D layout, 3D model, or both.
Please note: If you separate 2D & 3D models into individual files, any changes you make will not be replicated in the other design file.
Step 1: Click the 'Settings' button in the 'Lineardraft' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the 'Lineardraft Settings' window.
Step 2: Ensure the 'Model settings' tab is open
Step 3: Open the 'Advanced settings' drop-down
Step 4: Choose your preferred CAD output from the options
You will have the option of layout (2D), model (3D), or both.
Step 5: Click 'Update Settings'
A loading window may display while your CAD output updates, the 'Lineardraft Settings' window will close when complete.
