If the wire support you are looking for is not showing in your drop-down menu, no wire supports are available, or you are unable to 'Apply' your wire support choice, take a look at the quick troubleshooting tips below.
The wire support will not appear in your drop-down lists if you do not have the design catalogue set to active in your Lineardraft Settings. To update your active design catalogues take a look here.
Open your Lineardraft Desktop, and check the design catalogue you require appears in the list and has a green tick icon showing next to it. If there's a yellow ‘i’ icon next to it, you will need to download the design catalogue by clicking the sync button.
Please note: If the design catalogue you require does not appear in the list, you will need a License Administrator to request the catalogue to be assigned to your license.
Open your Lineardraft Desktop and check the design catalogue the wire support is a part of is up to date. If it is, it will appear in the list with a green tick icon showing next to it. If it is out of date, the icon will be an exclamation point inside a red triangle.
To update your design catalogue, simply click the sync button on the right-hand side.
Your list of available wire supports will be filtered by the reach and system height (encumbrance) values you have entered. If your support it not available try increasing or decreasing these values to see if it becomes available. You can also change the reach value by adjusting the RECOS/REFOS of your mast or the stagger of the wire.
If you have an open wire support slot, but no wire supports available for selection, hover your cursor over the warning symbol to display a wire support helper tooltip, showing what adjustments you can make to use certain wire supports.
Even once you have an item selected, if you hover your cursor over the 'i' symbol next to 'Type' in the 'Wire support' sub-menu, the helper tooltip will continue to give you adjustments you could make to allow you to use different wire supports.
