Can't get Lineardraft to load? Try these quick checks and fixes before submitting a ticket!
Step 1: From the Windows taskbar tray, click on the Lineardraft Desktop logo
Step 2: If the Lineardraft Desktop logo doesn't appear in the tray, double click the desktop icon or click on the Lineardraft Desktop application in the 'Start' menu.
Step 3: Check if the issue persists once Lineardraft Desktop is open
Open Lineardraft Desktop, and check your preferred CAD plugin appears in the list and has a green tick icon showing next to it. If there's an orange warning triangle next to it, you will need to install the update for your plugin by clicking the 'Install' button.
Step 1: Search 'Environment Variables' in your desktop search bar and click 'Edit the system environment variables'
This will open up the System Properties window.
Step 2: Click 'Environment Variables...'
Step 3: Select ‘COR_ENABLE_PROFILING’ from your user variables list
This environment variable may not appear in your list. If it does not, then this is not the cause of your Lineardraft loading issue.
Step 4: Click 'Delete'
Alternatively, you can click 'Edit' and change the value to'0'
Step 5: Click 'OK'
