Copy Structure Window

The 'Copy Structure' window opens when clicking the 'Copy' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft Toolbar. The functions available from this window are: 

  • 'Copy' - copy a single structure to a specified location
  • 'Copy opposite' - copy a single structure across tracks 
  • 'Multi-copy' - copy multiple structures along tracks

Function: Allows you to choose to 'Copy', 'Copy opposite', or 'Multi-copy'.

Copy

  1. Selected structure: Allows you to choose the structure you'd like to copy by either selecting it from the drop-down list or clicking on the locate button and then clicking directly on the structure you'd like to copy. 
  2. Centre view on structure: When clicked, this centres the view you are currently working in so the structure you have selected is central. 
  3. Marker, Left rail, Right rail: These prompts display when you are required to select a marker and rails. These indicate which order you need to select them in and will display a green tick when successfully selected.

Copy Opposite

  1. Selected structure: Allows you to choose the structure you'd like to copy by either selecting it from the drop-down list or clicking on the locate button and then clicking directly on the structure you'd like to copy.
  2. Centre view on structure: When clicked, this centres the view you are currently working in so the structure you have selected is central.
  3. Left rail, Right rail: These prompts display when you are required to select rails. These indicate which order you need to select them in and will display a green tick when successfully selected 

Multi-copy

  1. Selected structure: Allows you to choose the structure you'd like to copy by either selecting it from the drop-down list or clicking on the locate button and then clicking directly on the structure you'd like to copy.
  2. Secondary structure: When selected, it allows you to choose an additional structure from an adjacent track to be copied at the same time.
  3. Count: Choose the number of copies you would like to make.
  4. Name increment: Choose in what increments you would like the value in your structure name to increase by with each copy. For example; if your original structure is named 'WR-14-23' and you set a name increment of 2, your copied structures will be named 'WR-14-25', 'WR-14-27', 'WR-14-29' etc.
  5. Distance along rail: Allows you to choose the distance between your structure copies in metres.
  6. Foundation height: Choose between 'Relative' and 'Fixed'. Choosing 'Relative' will ensure the foundation height remains relative to the HRL for all copies.
  7. Copy wires: When checked, any wires attached to the structure you're copying will be attached to the copied structures.
  8. Alternate staggers: When checked, the stagger direction will alternate between structures.
  9. Copy equipment: When checked, any equipment attached to the structure you're copying will also be copied.
  10. Alternate push/pull: When checked, the 'Push / Pull' setting for wire supports will alternate between structures.
