Whilst editing RECOS, REFOS, and stagger can also affect reach values, follow the simple steps below to edit the reach directly in your design.
Step 1: Click ‘Edit’ in the ‘Structures’ section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the ‘Structure Selection’ window.
Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click ‘Edit’
Alternatively, you can select the structure using the drop-down menu.
This will open the ‘Edit Structure’ window.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Wires’ Tab
Here you will see the wires attached to the structure.
Step 4: Select the relevant wire
This will open the ‘Edit Wire’ dialog.

Step 5: Click the ‘Mast’ in the ‘Equipment Editor’
Step 6: Edit the ‘Reach’
You can do this by manually entering a value, or by using the up and down arrows.
Please note: RECOS, REFOS, and stagger can also affect reach values.
Step 7: Click ‘Apply’
This will close the ‘Edit Wire’ dialog.
Step 8: Click ‘Update Structure’
This will close the ‘Edit Structure’ window and apply the changes in your design.

Step 5: Select the ‘SPS’ in the ‘Equipment Editor’
Step 6: Edit the SPS ‘Distance’
You can enter a value manually or use the up and down arrows.
This will move your SPS in the chosen direction, thus changing the reach value.
Step 7: Click ‘Apply’
This will close the ‘Edit Wire’ dialog.
Step 8: Click ‘Update Structure’
This will close the ‘Edit Structure’ window and apply changes to your design.
