The mast bearing can be edited while creating or editing a structure, and can be adjusted independently from the foundation bearing. In this example we are going edit the mast bearing of an existing structure.
Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the structure selection window.
Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click 'Edit'
Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down menu. Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 3: Adjust the 'Bearing' value in the mast section
You can either click the arrow buttons or type the value directly into the box. You'll see the live preview in pink.
The below diagram illustrates what direction the mast, and by extension the gantry, will rotate when you increase or decrease the bearing value.
Top tip: You can reset the mast bearing to the default rotation for that structure type, defined in your project settings, by clicking the reset button. Your bearings are also reset to default if you change structure type.
Step 4: Click 'Update Structure'
This will close the 'Edit Structure' window and make your changes.
