Follow the steps below to join either two catenary wires or two auxiliary wires to create one continuous wire run.

Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Wires’ section of the Lineardraft toolbar
Step 2: Click on the ‘Join’ button
Step 3: Click on the first wire you would like to join
This can be done in 3D or plan view.
Please note: The newly joined wire will maintain the name of the first wire you select. If you would like to rename your new wire, please see Renaming a Wire.
Step 4: Click on the second wire you would like to join
This can be done in 3D or plan view. The two wire types must match in order to join. If you are choosing two wires which are attached to the same structure, the wire points of the first wire selected will be maintained.
Your wires will now be joined to make one continuous wire run.
