Adding Additional Tracks to a Structure

Follow the steps below to add additional tracks to a structure.

Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar

This will open the structure selection window.

Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click 'Edit'

Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down in the structure selection window. 

Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.

Step 3: Click the 'Tracks' tab on the left-hand side 

Step 4: Click ‘Add’ in the ‘Additional Tracks’ section

This will open the 'Add Additional Tracks' dialog

Step 5: Select the 'Left rail' 

This should be the left most rail of the track or tracks you are adding, in the direction of increasing chainage/distance. 

Step 6: Select the 'Right rail'

This should be the right most rail of the track or tracks you are adding, in the direction of increasing chainage/distance.

Feedback will display within the dialog to indicate if the addition has been successful, if unsuccessful hover over the 'i' icon for more information.

Step 7: Click ‘Apply’ 

Now, the additional tracks will appear in the ‘Tracks’ tab, Under ‘Additional Tracks’  

Step 8: Click ‘Update Structure’ 

This will close the ‘Edit Structure' window and the changes will be saved to your model.
