Used to differentiate between structure supports when attaching equipment, editing a structure, or reading a structure details report.
Structure supports are typically labelled differently depending on whether they are located to the left or right of their associated track, when viewing in the direction of increasing chainage.
The default labels for left and right structure supports are defined by project settings (see here for more details), but are editable in the 'Create Structure' or 'Edit Structure' windows, as shown below.
As portal structures have two structure supports, both left and right structure labels will be available in the ‘Create Structure' or 'Edit Structure' windows.
Top tip: If you want to rename a structure label, make sure the name follows the Structure Name, Label, and Reference Chainage Rules.
