Lineardraft doesn't work after updating your CAD application?

There are some Lineardraft configuration files, particular to each CAD application, that sometimes get overwritten or removed when CAD applications are updated. To fix things, follow the steps below:

  1. Close down all instances of your CAD application and any eDMS (Electronic Document Management System) such as ProjectWise
  2. Open Lineardraft Desktop
  3. Click on the Plugin 'Options Menu' (indicated by the 3 dots) for the relevant CAD application.
  4. Select 'Install/Update Plugin (even if the plugin shows as 'Up-to-Date')
