Follow the steps below to locate your snapshot files and restore an earlier version of your design file.
Step 1: Navigate to 'C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Zebraware\Lineardraft\SnapShots'
Here you will find snapshots for all the designs you have worked on using your current PC or laptop.
More info: Every design you have worked on using your current PC or laptop will have at least one snapshot. To save space, snapshots are constantly being overwritten with more recent backups of your design. Learn more about how snapshots work here.
Step 2: Locate the snapshot you wish to restore
You can do this by either checking the date and time noted in the name of the snapshot, or by opening the file and checking it.
Step 3: Copy and paste the desired snapshot file to the original location of your project, and rename the file
When you open the restored file for the first time in Lineardraft, a snapshot of it will instantly be created.
Top tip: As a precaution, always check the snapshot file you're restoring is still in working order, and the most accurate version of your design before deleting any files.
