Rebuilding a Structure

When Lineardraft is updated or your project settings are altered, we sometimes advise users to rebuild their structure(s) so the changes can take effect on existing models. This is how to rebuild a structure.

Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar

This will open the structure selection window.

Step 2: Click on the structure you want to rebuild and click 'Edit'

Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down menu. Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.

Step 3: Click 'Update Structure'

This will close the 'Edit Structure' window and rebuild the structure, all attached equipment and corresponding annotations.

Please note: All anchor structures linked to the selected structure via a wire will also be rebuilt.
