Follow the steps below to adjust the clip volume for a specific structure. This affects both the orthographic views (Front, Back, Top, Left and Right) and the saved view of the chosen structure.
Please note: The default clip volume for all structures is defined by your project settings. If the default values need to be adjusted, your team's Project Settings Administrator can submit a ticket to request this.
Step 1: Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Structures' section of the Lineardraft toolbar
This will open the structure selection window.
Step 2: Click on the structure you want to edit and click 'Edit'
Alternatively, you can select your structure from the drop-down in the structure selection window.
Clicking 'Edit' will open the 'Edit Structure' window.
Step 3: Click the 'Settings' Tab in the bottom left of the 'Edit Structure' window
Step 4: Locate the ‘Elevation’ section and enter the new value(s)
Step 5: Click ‘Update Structure'
A loading screen will display while your changes are applied. Once complete the window will close.
Please note: These changes will not be automatically reflected in any active orthographic views. To refresh the display, you must re-apply the view. Learn more about navigating views here, and how to update saved views here.
