Edit Structure Window

The ‘Edit Structure' window is made up of a fixed panel containing structure detail information at the top, and several tabs along the left-hand side which allow for the configuration of different elements associated with the structure. An overview of each tab is available via the links below.

Structure Details

  1. Name: This allows you to allocate a name to your structure by typing in each of the boxes. The number of boxes will be dictated by the requirements of your project laid out in your project settings and the name will show in the structure box in the plan view.
  2. Distance: Typically measured in km, this distance can denote chainage or similar reference distances along tracks.
  3. Tag: Can be used flexibly to add further details such as unit of measurement, additional labels, or other information.
  4. Secondary: When enabled in project settings, this allows the addition of a secondary chainage or distance value. Useful as a reference in projects which interface with additional chainage systems.
