Before submitting a ticket, it’s important to double-check you are using the most up to date versions of Lineardraft Core, plugins, design catalogues, and project settings. Sometimes an update is all you need to solve an issue!
Top tip: If you’d like to download a diagnostics document containing all version numbers to include in a support ticket, you can find out how here.
To find the individual version numbers you are currently using and if you need an update, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Lineardraft Desktop
You can do this by clicking on the Lineardraft Desktop icon in the Windows taskbar tray.
If Lineardraft Desktop isn't running in the system tray, double click the desktop icon or click on the Lineardraft Desktop application in the 'Start' menu.
Step 2: View your current version numbers and check update statuses
Check your version numbers on the right-hand side. If any components display a yellow 'i' icon, they are not installed. If they display a red '!' icon, they need updating to the latest versions.
Your Lineardraft Desktop version number is located in the bottom-left of the window.
